When did you start working for Kraft?

I started working for Kraft in August of 2022.  

What are your primary responsibilities in your current role?

Staff, establish, and organize a functional office both at our facilities and off site locations for live auctions and benefits. I also answer phones and provide customer service such as answering any questions involving our auctions, policies or billing. I am also our title clerk and I process all the titles for everyday vehicles, trailers & classic cars. I have also traveled when needed for auctions we have done across the country.

Have you held any other positions at Kraft prior to your current role?

I held an entry level position, in August 2022, with Kraft helping to set up our monthly auctions and unloading trailers, when Valparaiso was still having monthly consignment auctions. About 3 months later I was promoted to a lead position, where I oversaw the collection and set up of our customer consignment items. Then about 7 months later I was promoted to the job position I hold now.

What do you enjoy most about working at Kraft Auction/Kraft Real Estate?

Honestly I enjoy the organized chaos of it all. Watching so many people come together for our live auctions with similar interests compete to own something they are passionate about is really something to watch. I enjoy interacting with all the different groups of buyers from the classic car people to the toy collectors.

What do you believe sets Kraft apart from other auction and/or real estate services?

Our ability to set up and facilitate any type of auction. This company really is a one stop for anyone who wants to liquidate a high end collection, clean out a property, sell their real estate or simply sell a few every day items.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I would like to add, that choosing to turn my resume in here at this company was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I enjoy coming to work and especially enjoy getting to work with some of the best co-workers. It really does feel like a family here. While we have to work hard, put in some long hours and have a flexible schedule, to me its been worth it to get to experience the things I have. I’m thankful to be a part of this growing and ever changing company.
