A Storied History of Success
The Anniversary Auction began in 2006 as a one-day consignment event to celebrate our founder’s 30th year in business. That first auction, highlighted by the McPherson Collection of Merrillville, IN, set the tone for future success. A standout sale from that event was a rare pair of Sandwich Glass opalescent celery vases, which sold for a record-breaking $18,700—a testament to the power of our auctions.
Notable Milestones:
2019: Our first Anniversary Auction in the new facility featured the Leigh Korthels Collection, which sold for over $1.2 million. The total auction reached $3.2 million.
2020: We expanded to an eight-day, two-weekend event and set a new company record with sales exceeding $5.2 million.
2021: Overcoming the challenges of 2020, we assembled our largest collection yet. With over 33,000 registered bidders and multiple world records set, the auction totaled nearly $7 million.
2022: Sales reached $8.2 million.
2023: Sales hit $9 million.
2024: Sales climbed to an impressive $10.2 million.
